The action sports park is a private, on-site compound reserved exclusively for resort guests, featuring:
World-Class Infrastructure: A custom concrete flow skatepark, the first Evergreen Skatepark in New England, and a dedicated 13 acre mountain bike trail network and bike park with machine cut singletrack and progression features.
Four-Season Activation: The action sports infrastructure transitions across seasons, incorporating a seasonal winter outdoor ice rink and a future progression tow rope terrain park for skiing and snowboarding.
Community Access: While private for guests, the park opens to the public once a month for "The Blueberry Jam," a curated music, arts, and action sports gathering.
The Barrens is a future roadside farm stand, cultural gathering space, action sports destination, and micro resort rooted in Maine's native lowbush wild barrens.
The land is located 2 miles from the Scenic Route 1 and 1A junction in Stockton Springs, Maine, connected to the landscape, communities, and outdoor culture of the region.
Blueberry Jam is a planned monthly public weekend celebrating music, art, skateboarding, mountain biking, and the outdoors.
The Barrens Foundation will direct 1 percent of sales from across the property toward local grants throughout Maine.
